By creating an account, submitting a recovery request, accepting a job, or otherwise using K9 & Drone Recovery, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

K9 & Drone Recovery operates a matching and coordination platform that connects hunters and pet owners with independent tracking-dog handlers and FAA Part 107 drone pilots. We do not perform recoveries ourselves; specialists listed on the platform are independent operators.

You must provide accurate information when registering, including your name, phone number, and role. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform or have the consent of a parent or guardian for supervised use.

A $20 Dispatch Coordination Fee is charged only when a specialist accepts a recovery request. This fee is paid online through our payment processor. The specialist’s tracking or recovery fee is arranged and paid directly between the client and the specialist outside of the platform.

All payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider. K9 & Drone Recovery does not store full credit card numbers. Refund and dispute policies are described at the point of checkout and may be updated from time to time.

Specialists must comply with all applicable Wisconsin and federal laws, including but not limited to Wisconsin DNR regulations, hunting and tracking laws, FAA drone rules, and local ordinances. Specialists must not attempt recoveries in prohibited areas, including Wisconsin State Parks where such activity is restricted, and must verify they have proper permits and landowner permission before tracking on private or leased land.

K9 & Drone Recovery is a matching platform only. We do not guarantee the success of any recovery, the availability of specialists, the accuracy of map data, or the behavior of users on the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K9 & Drone Recovery is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or any recovery activity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, provide false credentials, or engage in unlawful activity. Users may delete their account at any time by contacting support.

By providing your mobile phone number and using K9 & Drone Recovery, you may opt in to receive automated SMS text messages regarding emergency tracking requests, dispatch alerts, status updates, and other account-related notifications.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the platform. You may update your contact preferences or opt out at any time by texting STOP or adjusting your notification settings.

Full details of our SMS program — including the exact website opt-in flow, consent language, and sample messages — are documented on our SMS Opt-In & Message Flow page. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the effective date noted below. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
